Banks recruit in waves, receive many applications at once and usually filter them through a recruitment portal before anyone reads them. A banking CV therefore needs two things: the right keywords for the role to pass the filter, and figures on targets, clients and portfolio quality to convince the reader. Việc Hot has 10 banking CV templates with sober layouts and muted colours. The sections below explain how to write for each role: teller, relationship manager, credit officer, credit appraisal and management trainee programmes.
Banking is a tightly regulated industry, so recruiters look closely at accuracy and compliance. A date that does not match, a job title inflated beyond the real one, or a figure with no clear source will all be questioned at interview, and many banks run background checks and verify with former employers before signing a contract.
The second difference is targets. Most sales roles in a bank are measured by deposits, loan balances, new clients and cross-selling. A CV that shows target achievement as a percentage gets read more carefully than one that only lists duties.
Tellers are hired for accuracy, speed and the way they talk to customers. Experience as a cashier, in retail, customer care or reception is worth including, because it uses the same skills: counting cash, processing transactions and staying calm when the counter is busy.
Two bullet points for a teller (illustrative figures)
Processed an average of 60 deposits, withdrawals and transfers a day; 12 consecutive months with no end-of-day cash discrepancy.
Introduced credit cards and the mobile banking app to walk-in customers, reaching 120% of the Q3 card target.
If you have never worked in a bank, see the banking application letter templates to explain why you are moving into the industry.

Management trainee programmes recruit final-year students and recent graduates, usually through several rounds: application, tests, group interview and an interview with senior leaders. At the application stage, recruiters look at academic results, languages, activities with a leadership role and internships.
Many programmes accept applications in English. In that case use the English CV templates or turn on bilingual mode.
Many people search for a "VPBank CV template", "Techcombank CV template", "MB CV template" or "BIDV CV template". Most banks accept applications through their own recruitment portal, where you fill in a form and attach your CV; banks do not require a fixed layout for the attached file. What matters is reading the recruitment notice for that round carefully: file format, maximum size, language, and whether a photo is required.
What makes a CV fit a particular bank is the content: use the exact job title from the notice, mention the client segment that bank focuses on, and include the product keywords from the job description.
This group has 10 templates in muted colours, with a small portrait slot because banks in Vietnam are used to seeing a photo. When applying through a recruitment portal, choose a one-column template. Each template has 10 layouts, 36 backgrounds and 69 fonts; fill it in from your Việc Hot profile, download a PDF to attach, click "Download Word" when the notice asks for a .docx file, or send a share link. CVs come in 17 languages and a bilingual mode.
Vietnamese banks are usually used to a small portrait in business attire against a light background. Foreign banks often do not need one; follow the recruitment notice.
Teller and retail relationship manager roles usually accept many backgrounds. On your CV, put experience involving sales, customer care or cash handling first.
No need. If the recruitment portal has a mandatory field, give a reasonable range; leave it out of the CV file itself.
