Check your job post before publishing: five content criteria and banned wording
Job posts are usually rejected at review for a handful of recurring mistakes: a title in all capitals, content that is too thin, a phone number in the description or discriminatory wording. The tool at the top of this page scores your post against five content criteria on a 100-point scale and lists the violations to fix before you publish.
The five scoring criteria
| Criterion | What the tool checks |
|---|---|

| Enough detail | What the tool checksThe description and requirements together contain at least 60 words |
| Split into bullet points | What the tool checksSome lines start with a dash or a bullet |
| Benefits section included | What the tool checksThe benefits section has content and is not left blank |
| Salary mentioned | What the tool checksThere is a figure, the unit million (“triệu”), VND or USD, or a clear statement that the salary is negotiable (“thoả thuận”) |
Content that gets a post rejected
- Wording common in scam posts: multi-level marketing, easy work with high pay, deposits, reservation fees, charging candidates fees, unlimited income.
- Demands to hold on to employees' original documents, such as ID cards or diplomas.
- Discriminatory wording: no ethnic minority applicants, no religious applicants, unmarried applicants only, a commitment not to have children.
- Phone numbers, email addresses or external links placed in the description instead of the how-to-apply section.
- Titles in all capitals, with repeated characters or lots of emojis.
Quick fixes for common mistakes
- Title
- Job title first“Software Sales Executive” instead of “URGENT HIRING SALES!!!”
- Salary
- A specific range“12 to 18 million VND plus sales bonus” instead of “attractive income”
- Contact
- In the right sectionLet candidates apply through the apply button; do not put a phone number in the description
A high score makes a post easier to approve and easier to read, but it still goes through the content moderation process. If you do not have a draft yet, start from an industry-specific job description template.
Frequently asked questions
No. The score only reflects how complete the content is; the post is still checked for the authenticity of the company and for its content under the Việc Hot review process.
So that candidates apply through the system, where their information is stored and protected, and to limit impostor posts that lure candidates elsewhere; contact numbers go in the how-to-apply section.
The tool still counts it as mentioning the salary, but posts that give a specific salary range usually receive more suitable applications.
