Choose a calculator by the amount you need to work out
This page has 8 tools that help employees estimate what they will receive and 6 tools that help HR teams estimate what the company has to pay. Each tool answers one specific question, so the quickest way to choose is to start from the question you have, then get ready the exact figures that tool asks for.

Most questions employees have come up at two moments: when a job offer arrives, and when they leave a job, go on maternity leave or take sick leave. The table below lists the tools by those questions.

For HR teams and business owners
When you plan a hiring budget, the figure you need is usually not the salary in the job post but the total the company spends on one person, including the insurance the company pays on top. The tools below follow the life of a position: setting the budget, the employment period and the day the employee leaves.
| Your question | Tool | Figures you need |

Reading the results correctly
A common mistake is entering the wrong salary base. Each benefit uses a different base: unemployment and maternity benefits use the average salary of 6 months, sickness benefit uses the salary of the month before the leave, lump-sum social insurance uses the average salary over the whole contribution period, and severance allowance uses the average contract salary of the last 6 months.
If your contract states an insured salary that differs from your gross salary, use the insured salary when you calculate insurance payments and allowances. The personal income tax calculator works month by month; if your income changes a lot during the year or you are paid by more than one employer, you will know your final tax only at the annual tax finalisation.
Frequently asked questions
The tools use the figures that apply in 2026, including the regional minimum wage and the personal income tax schedule.
No. The results are estimates to help you prepare and check figures; the official amounts are set by the Social Insurance Agency, the tax authority or the employer based on your actual records.
