Job description

  • Job Purpose:
  • Support the Legal & Compliance team with operational, research, and administrative tasks under the supervision of the Manager.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Research: Conduct legal research on new regulations (insurance, finance, data privacy) and prepare short summaries.
  • Compliance Support: Assist in monitoring internal compliance, updating trackers, and preparing compliance materials.
  • Contract & Document Management: Review standard contract templates; organize and maintain physical and digital legal files.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare meeting materials, take meeting minutes, track action items, and handle other office tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
  • Final-year student or fresh graduate in Law (Economic, Business, International Law, etc.).
  • Previous experience in internship, legal research, moot court, or student legal activities is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of compliance, legal risk, and corporate governance.
  • Strong legal research, analysis, and data summarizing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills & Attributes:
  • High integrity, strong attention to detail, and strict confidentiality mindset.
  • Proactive, fast learner, and good team player.
  • Language:
  • Good command of English (especially reading and analyzing legal documents).
