Job description
- Administer, operate, and optimize database systems to ensure high availability, security, stability, and performance.
- Participate in database projects across both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Participate in designing, building and testing database systems on public cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with Korean DB experts for implementation, migration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Perform DB object management (Table, Index, View, Stored Procedure, etc.).
- Maintain backup and recovery strategies.
- Monitor system performance and handle incidents.
- Support application deployment and release activities.
- Install and manage database systems such as Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with at least two database platforms (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Knowledge/experience in database migration.
- Experience working in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- English communication ability.
- Strong analytical thinking, system mindset, proactive attitude, and teamwork.
- Nice to have/ Preferred
- Experience designing, building, and operating DB systems on cloud (RDS, Redshift, Big Query, etc.).
- Experience in SQL development and performance tuning (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
